Frequently asked questions
- What size is a biometric photo?
- A biometric passport or ID photo is 50×60 mm; at 300 dpi that is 591×709 pixels. Pick it from the presets.
- Does resizing reduce quality?
- Quality is kept when making it smaller. Enlarging adds pixels but cannot add detail, so large enlargements can look soft.
- Is Resize image free?

- Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. It is processed in your browser on your own device; your file is never sent to a server or stored.
