Frequently asked questions

What if my file cannot get under 1 MB?
If the text would become unreadable, it is not shrunk further; the smallest readable result is saved and you are told. You can then split the document and upload the parts separately.
Can I see the result before downloading?
Yes. The Preview button shows the reduced file page by page; download it if you are happy.
Can I type another size (e.g. 5 MB)?
Yes. When the tool opens, change the value and type any size in KB or MB.
An application site rejects my file as "too large". What should I do?
Type the largest size the site accepts (e.g. 500 KB) and choose your file. The PDF or photo is brought under it, and you can preview it before downloading.
What if I type a very small size?
